Why apps and games translation is no longer just another nice-to-have strategy!

Google
Taking your app international is no longer just another nice-to-have strategy but something that must be done. Because there is clear shift in consumer apps usage to international markets, including emerging economies. 8 out of the top 10 largest iPhone and Android markets are not English-speaking.

China has become the second large apps market in the world. Consumers in these countries will want to buy apps in their native languages. Therefore developing apps only in English prevents your product reaching global stage.

My company, TTC Language Services Limited, works with the apps and games companies, enabling them to reach international customers by translating their products. This includes adapting when necessary to make sure apps and games appeal and message is communicated in other languages too. What is funny in the UK might be perceived quite differently in other cultures for example.

TTC is accredited by the Association of Translation Companies and the Institute of Translation and Interpreting. We have 20 years experience and regularly translate for customers of various sizes.

We have an international network of translators covering over 100 languages. They only translate into their mother-tongues and have experience in the subjects they translate so clients get functioning translated versions of their apps in any languages required. This enables them to reach global markets and maximize return on investment.

If you are an apps or games developer and would like to find out how we can assist you increase your revenues and market share, please contact me by email levent@ttc-online.co.uk or call +44 1245 216930.
